Dayo For Granny

This is the fourth layout I#8217ve done in the lasy month, and easily the best. I love the colours, and the textures in it.

My grandmother wanted me to do a page for her to put up on her bedroom door, and Mother#8217s Day gave me a good excuse. I used a fabulous coated netted ribbon I loved on sight, that I bought at Laurie Dash in Bridgetown, Barbados.

I also used a repeated embossed border along the right side, and embossed baby#8217s feet and hearts on the left lower corner. I used two sides of Brenda Walton#8217s Small Wonder#8217s Boy patterned paper, and a tag from the same collection.

I also used buttons from my mother#8217s awesome button collection, and contrasting ribbon bits to put the final touch on the vellum, which is from the Sweet Pea collection by K&Company.

This is the layout I like best of the few I#8217ve done, since I re-discovered my childhood love of scrapbooking recently.

[Journaling] A Baby Boy: one of the most beautiful miracles in life, one of the greatest joys we can ever know, and one of the reasons why there is a little extra sunshine, laughter and happiness in your world today. (Adedayo Etienne Fedon)
